The Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme gives Northland students a chance to learn firsthand about the business world.
Under the YES programme, students form their own company and create a new product or service. They fund the start-up capital, start production and introduce their business idea to the market.
During the year, the students learn about business planning, leadership, marketing, finance and production. They also learn about the importance of teamwork, and how to work with others in their community.
